500 days till kindergarten...

...and I have a to-do list several miles long.

This is only 1/10 of the total amount I own. It's time to use them up using the numerous craft books I have on hand.

And have I mentioned my large collection of cookbooks? I have close to 20 cookbooks, out of which I have made very few recipes. I have not been a very adventurous cook and I've found myself gravitating towards online food blogs for dinner inspirations instead of the lovely books lounging on my kitchen counter.

Plus, I have a ridiculous amount of art supplies laying dormant in several closets.

My main goal for the 500 days:

1. Use up the mountain of fabric taking up precious space.
2. Try at least one new recipe a week from my dust-collecting cookbooks.
3. Revive my art supplies; draw and paint more.
4. Organize, organize, organize.

Technically, it's over 500 days till kindergarten, but that doesn't sound as catchy. August 31st is my deadline. I will start looking for work (doing what, I have no idea) starting September 1, 2011. Until then, I aim to play. It'll be a bonanza of crafting, cooking and creating. Fun, fun!
