15 months

Mainly, Kumi's been refining her walking skills this month. It's almost at the point where I can't remember what it was like having a crawling child. Some minor colds, a few bumps and scrapes, many, many outings with friends -- that seems to sum up the month. And the last couple of weeks have been all about Halloween. I've been very crafty and not only did I carve my very first pumpkin, but I made her ladybug costume and trick-or-treat bag as well. I'll let the pictures tell the story...we went up the hill in our neighborhood where all the shops pass out candy on Halloween. A ton of people (mostly kids) milled around and though it was initially overwhelming, it turned out to be a lot of fun. Kumi watched wide-eyed as more and more candy filled her little bag. In no time, she got the hang of grabbing for candy with gusto -- it was a sight to behold. Happy Belated Halloween, everyone!
